Julie Bowen talks about the terrible twos
Being a new mom to twins is hard enough, but add a two-year-old to the mix and that’s the denifition of chaos! Welcome to Julie Bowen’s world. The actress gave birth to baby boys John and Gus just 10 weeks ago and she talked to Celebrity Baby Blog about how big brother Oliver is handling the situation.
According to mom, Oliver is “not psyched” about the new additions, and lets his mom know at the most inopportune time. Julie says, “He waits until I’m double breastfeeding and then he throws crap across the room! I can’t stop him because what am I going to do? Dump the twins? Throw one to the ground?” But Julie’s taking it all with a grain of salt: “It’s fine. This will all be over soon enough.”
Did your child have a tough time with a new baby in the family? How did your child handle the terrible twos?

Julie,
I feel your pain! Our son was just shy of 3 when our twins were born 19 weeks ago today! He does the same thing. Now, he is quite proud of being the Big Brother and even though he still wants his own amount of attention, he is getting better. He actually plays with them (it helps that the laugh and smile at the mere sound of his voice) these days and it is so cute. I am positive that they will all be much closer as they grow up. In the meantime, I make sure to give him his own Mommy time. We have noticed that most of his aggressive/attention getting is focused on me more so than on my husband! Hang in there. We can do this!!!!! God Bless!
