My Chemical Romance singer is a dad
Gerard Way, the lead singer for the band My Chemical Romance, became a first-time father on Wednesday, May 27. He and his wife, first-time mom Lindsey “Lyn-Z” Ballato, who is the bass player for Mindless Self Indulgence, welcomed their daughter Bandit Lee Way into the world at 2:57 p.m. on Wednedsay. She was 6 pounds, 5.6 oz. and “happy and healthy,” PEOPLE reports.
The couple announced the pregnancy back in November of last year, but remained fairly tight lipped about any details. They weren’t trying to keep any secrets, however. Gerard had explained, “[I don't] know how to begin to even start talking about something like that!”
We wish the new parents lots of luck with little Bandit Lee. What do you think about her name? As the daughter of rock stars, we guess it comes with the territory?
