Tina Fey had a great night on Sunday! She was proudly honored with the best actress in a comedy award at the Screen Actors Guild. When speaking, she mentioned that her daughter, 3-year-old Alice Zenobia, provides much of the humor in her family.

She told the crowd that Alice coined the phrase “I want to go there” and that she likes to apply pretend makeup and say, “I look like Barack Obama.” Tina added: “[Alice] has somehow gotten it into her head that it’s a good thing to resemble a famous politician. I don’t know where she got that idea, but it is a little stroke of good luck when it happens.”

She also joked: “Some day she’ll be old enough to watch 30 Rock reruns on the Internet and she’ll understand where mommy was going at 6 a.m. every day for all that time and she’ll look up at me and say, ‘What do you mean you don’t get residuals for this?’ I love you Alice, take care of me when I’m old and broke!”

Ricky Martin was recently seen as he sat and took a break to speak on the phone during a brisk afternoon walk through Central Park in NYC. Valentino (left below) and Matteo (right below) seemed to enjoy their fancy ride in their top of the line Peg Perego stroller and carseats as they stayed bundled up and warm on the cold day.

Ricky Martin who announced just months ago that he had hired a surrogate mother and that she delivered fraternal twins for him to raise, has been very open about how he has always dreamed about being a father. He is also very open about the fact that there is not a permanent mother figure in his sons lives. He recently told People Magazine:

“Yes, my babies don’t have a mom [present]. But I have a lot of incredible women in my family that will always be there for them. I have no point of comparison. I know nothing but being a single father. I am surrounded by fascinating women who really care about me and my kids, and they will always be there for them. When they come with a question, the answer will be right there with honesty. They won’t feel alone because thousands, if not millions, of children are being raised by single parents. And I’ll have to focus on the light, not the darkness.”

Everything we have seen supports the fact that Ricky Martin is definitely putting his sons first in his life. He has temporarily halted his career to focus on raising his precious newborns. What do you think? Is he a great dad or do you believe that he should not have become a single father?

Though once told by doctors that is was impossible for her to conceive a baby, singer Jill Scott has defied the odds. The mother to be, who is due in April, recently announced that she and fiance Lil Jon Roberts are expecting a boy.

Of her miracle baby to be, Jill says: “It’s so hard to believe, it’s hard to have faith, especially when things aren’t working out… It’s difficult and a challenge when you continuously ask for what you want and need in your life or at least what you think you want and need in your life, but that’s when you have to believe and have faith the most.”

She adds, “We didn’t plan for this, but God obviously had other plans.”

She also told Essence, “I’ve learned a lot about men and mothers. I’ve never appreciated mothers this much, or even my mother, until now as I sit in a room with my grandmother, my mother and now my son. It’s truly amazing what’s happened to me and there’s a lot to say and I can’t wait to say it.”

We wish the singer the best with her pregnancy and her life as a mom to her unexpected, but welcome, little bundle!

Jaime Pressly graces the cover of SHAPE magazine’s March issue, looking fabulously fit post-baby. She credits her son Dezi James, 20 months, for her new love for her sexy stomach. She tells the magazine, of her most sexy attributes, “I used to just say my brain. But lately, I love my stomach; and growing a human being inside me, there is nothing more incredible or sexy.”

Jaime worked superhard to regain her pre-baby body, working out with a trainer four days a week. She says, “I think it’s sexy when women have shapely bodies.”

Meanwhile, Jaime and DJ Eric Cubiche, Dezi’s father, recently split. Jaime has no hard feelings, admitting the couple is “going through a rough patch.” She says, “it’s not like someone cheated on someone else. Sometimes you need to take a step back and figure out what you need.”

Regardless, Jaime adds, “We didn’t plan a wedding, we planned a child. [Dezi is] the greatest thing that’s happened to either one of us.”

Amy Locane, the famous actress from Cry-Baby, welcomed her second daughter almost a week ago on January 21, 2009. Avery Hope Bovenizer arrived in the evening hours at a local hospital in Princeton, NJ and weighed a mere 5 lbs., 3 oz. She joins big sister Paige Cricket, 2 who is very excited to have a little sister to play with.

Amy Locane and her firefighter husband, Mark Bovenizer, have kept a pretty low profile in recent years. However, Amy Locane has appeared in many films and TV shows including Cry-Baby with Johnny Depp, School Ties with Brendan Fraser, and is perhaps best known for her role on Melrose Place back in the 90′s playing Sandy Louise Harling.
