Rebecca Romijn is a mom
Rebecca Romijn and hubby Jerry O’Connell welcomed twin girls on December 28, 2008, the star’s rep confirmed to Usmagazine.com after Howard Stern announced the news on his Sirius radio show this morning.
Stern said: “They had twin girls, Dolly and Charlie. Rebecca likes Dolly Parton, so they named the one after Dolly Parton, and Jerry got to name the other one Charlie, but his brother’s name is Charlie — and it’s a girl Charlie.”
The girls’ full names are Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip. How cute are those names?
“Mother, father and both girls are all home and doing well,” says Rebecca’s rep. The new mom is probably very relieved to have finally delivered. Back in November she told Page Six, “I can’t move anymore… I’m a beached whale. I have not been without a bra this entire pregnancy. I refuse. I’m not taking any chances. I’m determined to keep the puppies up!”
We’re sure Rebecca will be back in swimsuit shape in no time. In the meantime, we wish the couple lots of joy with their new bundles!
