Bristol Palin gives birth to a boy
Sarah Palin, the former vice-presidential candidate, has a new grandson. Her daughter, Bristol Palin, gave birth to her first child today, a boy, in their home town of Anchorage, Alaska. The father is her high school boyfriend Levi Johnston.
The pregnancy drew a lot of attention early in the vice presidential campaign because Bristol Palin is only 17 and the couple is unmarried. Sarah Palin stated that they would indeed be getting married, but her conservative view points were highly questioned.
Staying in tradition with her mother who has given all of her kids names that are not quite traditional, the new boy was given a name that will be unique more than likely for his own graduating class. Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston was born at 7 pounds and 4 hours, and according to family members both Bristol Palin and her new son are doing just fine.
