Lance Armstrong expecting his fourth child

Apparently winning the Tour de France is not the only thing Lance Armstrong is good at. He confirmed to Usmagazine.com through his rep recently that he and his girlfriend, Anna Hansen, are expecting a child this summer.

The rep spoke for Lance saying, Anna and I are thrilled to confirm that we are expecting in June and our families are ecstatic and grateful. We are very much looking forward to what 2009 brings on many fronts. We appreciate [the public] respecting our privacy, as we are both eager to celebrate the holidays as a family.”

The cancer survivor is already daddy to nine-year-old son, Luke, and 11-year-old twins Isabelle and Grace with his ex-wife Kristin Richards. Though his previously three children were conceived via in vitro fertilization with sperm banked before he underwent chemo, a spokeswoman from the Lance Armstrong Foundation said that Lance and Anna’s child “was conceived naturally.”

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz show the world Bronx

The couple, who have previous said that they will not sell their newborn sons baby pictures for profit or charity, posted a picture of their new family on Pete Wentz’s website FriendsorEnemies.com. The pictures shows the proud new mom, Ashlee Simpson, holding her son Bronx Mowgli Wentz, while the new daddy kisses the top of his head. It isn’t the best baby shot they could have posted probably as fans don’t get to see the whole face, but it is still a touching and very loving shot.

Pete Wentz previously wrote to his fans that he would not be selling the pictures of his new son. He said, “We are not placing judgment on those that do as they often use the money in a very charitable way. However, we have made the decision to not sell Bronx’s baby pictures right now. We understand that like other celebrities have said, ‘there is a bounty on our heads’ for these pictures. There is a danger when there are cameras being held over walls and into our backyard. We are followed day and night and that was fine when it was us but we are going to do our best to shelter Bronx from that as much as possible.”

The card, in addition to showing off the new baby, the stars asked that those who see it make their own contributions to certain charities that the couple have picked out. Will you donate?

Will Nicole and Joel adopt?

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have made no secret that their daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden, who is 11 months, is the joy of their lives. So do they plan on adding to their brood. Joel has said in the past that if they are all as easy as Harlow, then he definitely wants kids.

He recently said he likes to “do all the fun stuff and break some of the rules” while mama Nicole keeps “everything in order.”

While pregnant, Nicole, who was adopted by Lionel Richie when she was nine years old, had said that she was open to the idea of maybe adopting a child someday. It seems Joel might be in agreement. He recently told OK! magazine, “I’m definitely not against adopting.” The UNICEF celebrity ambassador continued, “”I went to Central African Republic and fell in love with the place…If I was going to adopt, it would probably be from there.” He reiterated, “Nicole and I are very happy and eventually we’d love to have more kids, especially if they can all be as easy and wonderful as Harlow!”

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt on babies

Newlyweds Heidi Montage and Spencer Pratt, who eloped in Mexico in late November are already talking babies! They just may have to agree on when they are ready. On Monday the couple chatted with Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show about their marriage and the possibility of kids in their future.

Heidi said they are going to be together “Forever and ever and ever!” And when Ryan said, “A little birdie told me you were tryin’ [for kids],” Spencer responded with, “We definitely need a kid ASAP.”

But if Heidi has anything to say about it – and we’re sure she does! – he might have to wait a little longer than ASAP. Heidi told Us Weekly after their elopement: “I don’t want kids for a long time. You’ve got to keep your youth, your body for as long as you can. I feel like when I’m 30, we will.” Maybe she’s changed her mind? We’ll be on bump watch, just in case!

Brooke Shields returns to role as “super mom”

Brooke Shields’ show Lipstick Jungle may be getting canceled, but Brooke is taking it all in stride. In fact, “as soon as” she heard the news that the show might get the ax, Brooke “turned her attention to Christmas shopping” and returned to her role as “super mom.” A role that is going to be a bit challenging, according to Brooke, due to her daughter Rowan’s new habit – cursing!

The 5-and-a-half year old girl apparently, “picked up some good New York language” Brooke said on the Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson. In a recent car ride Rowan said, “F-ck, f-ck, f-ck, I want my window down, f-ck.” Brooke responded by saying, “‘I don’t know what you mean. You want your window down, honey? Sure.’”

Brooke later admitted jokingly that Rowan “actually learned it from my mother…That’s why I’m also in therapy.”

Coco on Christmas

Courteney Cox-Arquette and hubby David Arquette might have to rethink what they are going to get their four-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Coco Riley, for Christmas this year. For several years now, according to Courteney, it’s been all about Barbie.

On a recent episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Courteney said, “She’s obsessed with Barbies. She has all the Barbies that David gives her, which is almost daily.” She added that her hubby, who she jokingly called a shopaholic, “feels like if he just goes away for an hour, he has to [give Coco a Barbie].”

However, after seeing the show, Coco updated her mom saying, “‘I do NOT like Barbies.” Courteney announced on Jimmy Kimmel Live! “So that’s gonna throw out the whole letter to Santa, it was all about Barbies! I don’t know what we’re going to do. She got embarrassed. All of a sudden Barbies were not cool.”

This year, Coco was a big help during a tree-trimming party at Courteney’s good friend Jennifer Anitson’s. Guests were invited to come and help decorate the tree by bringing an ornament of their own.

However, Coco wound up doing most of the work, said Courteney: “Coco was the only person taking care of the tree. She put [all the ornaments] only on, like, a 3-feet-high level.”

She also told Usmagazine.com recently that “Christmas is insane in our house. I say: “Let’s buy Coco one good toy,” but he wants to buy her 900 presents. Our compromise lands closer to David.” Sounds like it’ll be a Merry one for Coco!

Keri Russell loves reading to River, dad Shane prefers wrestling

When Keri Russell appeared on the CBS Early Show, the talk turned to her 18-month-old son, River Russell. Keri told co-host Maggie Rodriguez that River is “a nice little guy.”

She also said, “He doesn’t talk a lot. A lot of caveman language and pointing. But he’s so sweet and funny and I just — my favorite is his dancing. I love the way he dances…When they throw the moves out, I love it.”

Keri gushed about her husband Shane Deary, calling him a “great dad” and adding, “He’s awesome and he builds houses…He’s got it all going on.” Keri admitted that both she and her hubby take turns reading to their son, but that Shane prefers other activities: “I’m big more on the reading, he is big more on the wrestling.”
