John Travolta’s daughter makes her movie debut
Eight and a half year old Ella Bleu, better known as John Travolta and Kelly Preston’s daughter, is making her acting debut in the film Old Dogs, which also features her mom.
After reading the script, John and Kelly sought the advice of friends Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith as to whether or not they should allow their daughter to enter the spotlight of Hollywood just yet. With the Smith’s support and inspiration, the proud parents are very excited about Ella’s entree into the industry, and they feel this film is the perfect debut.
John says, “I want to see her have a fruitful career and I really think it’s time to introduce her, sort of like Will Smith introduced his son. I think this is the right thing for Ella, and Kelly thought it was smart too.”

I dont think its right becuz or one shes only eight and i think its bull crap that any celebrity can put their kid in a movie!! Just becuz they’ve done it before!! It’s not right!! Every young celebrity has got in hollywood that way just like miley cyrus!!
Now i’m going to watch that movie “Old Dogs” and if shes not good then i know why you really wanted her to do it!! Just to get her in the spotlight young and so she can stay in the spotlight through out her life!! Do you even know if this is really what she wants to do??

We do not think it is fair that celebraties can just out their kids in movies. People like us who are not famous probably have no chance at ever being in a movie, and celebratied can just make sure their kids get in a movie. To us this is not right. We will watch the movie “Old Dogs” and if she does not end up being a good actor then she should not stay in the movies or in the spotlight. Thank You

I think that John is very capable of deciding what is best for his daughter he has proven himself to be a very strong but yet caring and loving man and father people should let it be and let John and Kelly decide the best for Ella

I think its fine celebritys putting their kids in to movies its up to them what they do with their kids so if John and Kelly want to put Ella in to a movie well its up to them nobody else and I really think that John Travolta is an ace actor so you never know Ella might get somthing off him, so I dont have anything agenst celebritys putting their kids in to movies so celebritys carrie on lots of love Hannah26 age 12 xxx

Both John and Kelly have worked hard for their celebrity status. Most parents use whatever resources they have to give their kids every advantage they can. It is called human nature. Ella has been watching her parents do it all her life it is natural for her to want to try. More power to the Travolta’s for making it happen. It is no different than the kid who becomes a cop because his/her parent is a cop, fireman, lawyer, doctor, etc etc etc.
The movie looks great and based on the clips at Disney.com Ellas has her Dad’s expressive eyes. She 8is going to do well in the business.

John and Kelly I know what it’s like to lose a child. I am so proud of you both for being strong for your little girl. I can’t to hear when you have your precious little baby. Jett will be his guardian angel. Hang in there you have blessings on its way. Again my condolences on the loss of your son but he still lives in your heart.
