Lisa Bonet talks about motherhood
In an article on People.com, Lisa Bonet speaks about her ultra shy personality and why that made it hard for her to return to a television (she stars in the ABC cop drama Life on Mars).
However, while that role may have been hard to take on, one that comes naturally to Bonet is that of mother. She told People.com that motherhood is a priority for her and that she is a “hands-on mom.” She continues: “A parent’s hope is to pass on wisdom so they don’t repeat the same mistakes you did… You want a better life for them.”
The 41-year-old Cosby Show alum has a 16-month-old daughter, Lola, with her boyfriend, actor Jason Momoa. The couple is expecting their second child in January.
Meanwhile, Bonet fended off rumors that she has a son, saying: “I don’t have three children already… I always hear that I do … Apparently, there’s some young child locked in a basement… I don’t dwell on that stuff, but that comes to mind.”
