John Travolta’s daughter makes her movie debut

Eight and a half year old Ella Bleu, better known as John Travolta and Kelly Preston’s daughter, is making her acting debut in the film Old Dogs, which also features her mom.

After reading the script, John and Kelly sought the advice of friends Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith as to whether or not they should allow their daughter to enter the spotlight of Hollywood just yet. With the Smith’s support and inspiration, the proud parents are very excited about Ella’s entree into the industry, and they feel this film is the perfect debut.

John says, “I want to see her have a fruitful career and I really think it’s time to introduce her, sort of like Will Smith introduced his son. I think this is the right thing for Ella, and Kelly thought it was smart too.”

Chris O’Donnell calls five kids “a handful”

Recently, dad of five Chris O’Donnell spoke out about having five kids on Jimmy Kimmel Live, telling the host: “Everyone says, ‘Oh, you must be Irish Catholic.’ Trust me, we know what we’re doing…there was just a miscommunication there.”

The 38-year-old actor and his wife had intended on stopping having children after their fourth child, the now 2-1/2-year-old Finely. However, fate intervened and brought Chris and his wife, Caroline, their fifth child, now 11/-month-old Maeve Frances. But Chris added, “We’re not going to be the Duggars. We’re going to stop at five, because five is a handful.” We think it would be!

Leonardo DiCaprio wants to be a dad

Leonardo DiCaprio has had amazing movie career that has led him to far away places all across the globe, but apparently Leo is ready to settle down from that a little and – gasp – start a family?

The actor, who we all saw grow up on the television series Growing Pains, is 34 now (can you believe that?), and his friends around him are all starting families of their own, which has seemed to have an impact on Leo.

In a recent interview, the hottie said, “”So much of my life has been spent on some far-off movie location and so little of it has been lived normally,” he notes. “I want to get married and have children.” I’m sure he has plenty of takers, don’t you think?

Leo also added, “I see it all around me and I think things have to naturally take their course. But every friend of mine who has children says the same thing — It’s the greatest thing in the world. So it’s something I’m looking forward to.” We think he’d be a pretty cool dad, don’t you?

The champagne toast test

The rumors have been swirling about whether or not Mariah Carey and her new husband Nick Cannon are expecting their first baby. As has been usual, Mariah Carey has been denying rumors and Ellen was determined to get to the bottom of the, “Is she or isn’t she?” debate.

On today’s episode Mariah visited Ellen and Ellen began to quiz her. Mariah denied it and so Ellen handed her a glass of champagne and suggested they toast…to NOT being pregnant. Mariah balked at Ellen’s proposal and laughingly told her, “I can’t believe you did this to me, Ellen … this is peer pressure!”

Finally Mariah brought the glass to her lips and pretended to take a sip…an action Ellen called her on. Mariah still won’t admit it but the signs are starting to point to it being true! Mariah, next time just tell her that you are an alcoholic and can not drink the liquor. That should stop the questions and send your host to an immediate break.

Camila Alves wants Levi to be bilingual

Camila Alves, Matthew McConaughey’s superhot baby mama, recently took some time off from modeling down the runways in Barcelona and headed to her native Brazil with four month old Levi.

Dad Matthew did not make the international trek with her lady and baby, he stayed behind in Malibu. But Camila’s family is in Brazil, so we’re certain there was no shortage of attention lavished on the little Levi, and maybe even picked up a bit of the native language?

Camila feels her heritage is important to share with her son, and told BabyCenter: “Being bilingual is so important for the baby. He’s going to know all his American roots, but he also needs to know about his Brazilian side.”

Gwen Stefani and Zuma step out in style

Ok, does Gwen Stefani ever NOT look fabulous? Maybe it’s the glam red lips or the rocker hat and sunglasses, but she just never has a bad fashion day, even when she’s toting her kids, which she often is.

The fab and fashionable mom was spotted with baby Zuma, who is three months already, last week for an appointment in Beverly Hills, after just returned the day before from a tropical vacation in Mexico with her other son, two-year-old Kingston James McGregor. So she’s jetlagged and still looks that great? We want her secret! Dad Gavin missed this trip, but we’re sure the hip family will be spending Thanksgiving together.

There is a “Chemical” baby on the way

My Chemical Romance lead singer, Gerard Way, confirms that he and his wife of just a little over a year, are excitedly expecting their first child together. Lindsey ‘Lyn-Z’ Ballato who is best known as a musician for Mindless Self Indulgence have announced that they are expecting a baby in the early summer months which makes her just barely into the second trimester.

The couple got married in September of 2007 and the singer has been focusing on his relationship with his wife more than his future in music. The band hasn’t released a new album since the fall of 2006. Hopefully with a new marriage and a new baby, the singer will find inspiration to write a great song that his fans will love.
