A week ago we told you that Lil Wayne welcomed his new son, Dwayne Michael Carter III, and that every one was healthy and happy. Today we find out that not only did the baby come, but that rapper Lil Wayne himself was there to help when the baby was born.

He tells People that it was “very nasty” and talks about holding the mothers leg the entire time. The boy, born at 9:25 in the morning was a little guy at just 7 lbs., 12 oz. Lil Wayne calls him the best thing to ever happen to him, next to his daughter.

Lil Wayne has a daughter who is 8 years old named Reginae Carter, whose mother is high school sweetheart Antonia “Toya” Johnson. Still no word on who the mother is of the new son. Maybe we will find out one day soon!

Nine-month-old Harlow’s mom, aka Nicole Richie, has made no secret of how motherhood has changed her life and how happy she is playing the role of mom. She and boyfriend, Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden, have also been quoted talking about having more kids in the future. Joel has been quoted saying, “If it could be as easy as Harlow, then sure we will have more kids.”

Well, apparently, Nicole is considering adding to her family by way of adoption, according to BANG Showbiz. A source close to Nicole revealed that since Nicole has been in touch with low-income families via her and Joel’s charity, The Richie-Madden Children’s Foundation, she has considered adoption. The source said, “Nicole is seriously looking into it and asking a lot of questions about adopting. Nicole has been visiting Beyond Shelter in Los Angeles two or three times a week and spends a couple of hours with homeless children. She loves being around them.”

Seeing what a great mom Nicole is, any less fortunate child would be lucky to become part of her family!

Lord of the Rings‘ actor Sean Bean is denying rumors that his fourth marriage - to Georgina Sutcliffe, whom he wed in February of this year - is in trouble. Quite the opposite, in fact. He has said that he and his wife are trying for a baby, reports BANG Showbiz.

Bean, 49, has three older daughters from his prior marriages, which he feels will be a bonus if he has another baby. He said, “The older ones can babysit. But only if I can get them because they are always out on a Saturday night. That would be handy.”

38 year old Jo Dee Messina is expecting her first baby with her husband, 28 year old Chris Deffenbaugh. Jo Dee has actually done a great job at keeping it a secret until now. It turns out that she is already in her third trimester and that the baby is a boy.

The couple who have only been married a year knew they wanted to have children. Jo Dee stated, “We knew we wanted to have kids, but we just said, ‘Whenever it happens, it happens.’ And it happened!” she says. “We were both surprised at first. It’s such a lifestyle change. But then we’re like, ‘Wow, we’re going to be parents!’”

Jo Dee, who was trying to lose weight before she got pregnant has done a great job at controlling her weight gain and staying healthy through the last six months. She told People, “I’ve gained about 11 lbs., which is good,” she says. “I’m staying really fit. I run 30 minutes a day and weight train for an hour, five days a week. This is all baby!” She is hoping to be able to run a five mile marathon during Thankgiving and is working to be in shape six months after the baby is born in order to shoot a new video.

According to Usmagazine.com, CNN’s Campbell Brown, who has a 10-month-old son with her husband, Fox News analyst Dan Senor, is expecting… again! The 40-year-old anchor announced the news on The Daily Show on Monday AFTER Jon Stewart congratulated her (she had yet to publicly break the news).

She took it all in stride (being the good anchorwoman that she is!), responding, “Thank you, on the bump?” Usmagazine.com reports that she then turned to the audience and declared, “I’m pregnant! We just came out of the closet, so I’m happy to share the news. We’re pretty excited.”

We’ll be keeping close tabs for more news. A due date or other details about the pregnancy have not yet been revealed.
