Well, the writers strike seems to have proven fertile for the women of the hit show 24. Since the filming hiatus, at least two of them became pregnant and have since delivered their babies — just in time for the filming to begin again. First was Mary Lynn Rajskub who plays Chloe, and today it was…

Marisol Nichols, who plays a brunette beauty on the show, and her director husband Taron Lexton welcomed their first child, a daughter they named Rain India Lexton. She made her appearance at 2:18 a.m. this morning and weighed a healthy 7 lbs., 5 oz.

The new parents told People, “We are all doing great. She is beautiful and gorgeous and more amazing than we ever imagined.” They are clearly thrilled with their new addition.

The baby was not due for another few days, but decided to make an early arrival. 

Though Rebecca Romijn isn’t due until January, she and her Ugly Betty co-stars are betting that the babies just won’t wait that long! According to Usmagazine.com, Judith Light said at the Women Empowering Women In Fashion, Media and Music Gala in NYC Saturday, “… she said because they’re twins… they might be coming early, maybe December.”

“I’m sure they’re going to come sooner,” Ana Ortiz agreed. “She’s been off since the end of August taking it easy. I guess we can’t say what happens to her, but we had to give her a little baby break.”

Co-star Vanessa Williams weighed in, too, telling Us, “She’s having twin girls, she’s well prepared already,” Williams said. “She’s nesting right now,” Williams revealed. “She can’t leave in the next couple months because she has to stay close to home.”

We all know Mark Wahlberg and fiance Rhea Durham have chosen a name for their third child who was born on September 16th. Brendan Joseph reportedly weighed 7 pounds 10 ounces at birth, however the family has yet to confirm the delivery has occured.

Brendan is the third child for the couple joining big sibs Michael, 2, and sister Ella, 4. The family is thrilled about the arrival, but little Ella was disappointed when she found out she was getting another brother. According to her father she was already making plans to dress up her baby sister.

As for the big wedding day? It is rumored that they are waiting till next summer for their intimate occasion. Rhea supposedly wanted to wait until after the baby came and she was able to have time to get in shape and look her best, which is really what every bride wants, celebrity or not. The couple is confident that their new family will succeed since they have waited so long already.

In an exclusive, Us Magazine revealed that Constance Marie is with child. The 43-year-old actress, who starred in George Lopez, and her fiance, Kent Katich, a yoga instructor, are anticipating a baby girl in February.

Marie, five-months pregnant, told Us, “I am feeling good now. But the beginning was rough! Instead of ‘morning sickness,’ they should call it ‘all day sickness!’”

The actress admitted that at one time she wasn’t even sure if she wanted children, but after playing several roles as a mom, she says, “I think I finally decided I wanted to be one in real life!”

The couple is debating whether or not to get married before their daughter comes… or if they’ll marry at all. Says Marie, “… things are so good … why mess with them?”

The world was shocked by the untimely death of Heath Ledger just nine months ago. One of the world’s brightest young actors was the victim of an accidental drug overdose, leaving his daughter, 2 year old Matilda, with actress Michelle Williams, fatherless.

The world was again shocked when it was revealed shortly there after that Heath made a will, several years before his daughter was born, that left his entire estate to his parents and sisters. Much like anna Nicole’s daughter Dannielynn, Matilda was by law shut out of her fathers estate.

When the will was originally made Heath was not yet a multi-millionaire or a world wide known movie star. At the time of his death it is reported that his estate was worth 16 million dollars. Rumors immediately began flying that Michelle would challenge the will on behalf of the couples daughter. Many in the world sat flabbergasted that the first response from the family wasn’t, “Of course it should ALL go to our granddaughter.”

The Sunday Times in Australia just reported that Heath Ledger’s father has finally stepped up and stated, “There is no claim. Our family has gifted everything to Matilda.”

This is the obvious solution and it is great that they have finally come to it. It is really too bad that it took so long, but it does let the world know that the family has only the best interest of their granddaughter at heart, and not padding their own pockets.

Though David Eigenberg has been acting for many years, most know him for his role as Steve Brady, Miranda’s quirky-yet-lovable boyfriend, husband and father of her son (though not in that order!) on Sex and The City. Now, the 44-year-old actor is preparing for another role in real life – perhaps the biggest of his life – that of first-time dad!

Reports state that David’s wife  Chrysti is pregnant, and that the couple is expecting a baby boy come February. A spokesperson for the couple states, “They are ecstatic.”

Eigenberg, a former marine, met ex-Army specialist Chrysti at a military party. With their military backgrounds, does this mean their baby boy is destined for a career in the military? Perhaps, he’ll follow in his dad’s footsteps and get into acting, as well!
