Minnie Driver confirms pregnancy, but not the father
Good Will Hunting actress Minnie Driver has confirmed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno that she is pregnant.
Jay joked to Driver that it looked like she had gained weight from eating too much at the Hometown Buffet. Her response? “Are you calling me fat? You’ve noticed my tummy, haven’t you?
“Are you pregnant?” asked Leno.
“Yes, I am,” Driver confirmed. She went on to say that she loves being pregnant “more than anything else.” Well, all except the morning sickness! Driver, 38, revealed that she has it “morning, noon and night.”
Driver has not revealed the father of the baby (possibly her boyfriend Matthew), but did tell Ellen DeGeneres why she waited to reveal her pregnancy. “I didn’t do an announcement because I’m not really an announcement girl. I’m wearing red knickers. I’m also having a child, not really my thing. So I didn’t say anything.”
As far as naming her child, Driver is hoping for a girl. “I have a pretty silly name. Driver is kind of a hard name to put with a first name, particularly boys names … My friend sent me an email saying I should call the baby Duncan Driver. Then I can call it Dunk Driver, Pile Driver, Rally Driver.”
Driver will be expecting her first child in August.
