Casey NOT father of Jamie Lynn Spears’ baby?

Star magazine is reporting that the father of Jamie Lynn Spears’ baby is not Casey Aldridge, but a “much older” executive at her hit Nickelodeon show, Zoey 101. “Casey is being paid off to be the family’s fall guy while the real father remains unidentified,” a source tells the magazine.
Why would they do that? The older man could be faced with statutory rape charges, but Casey would not because he is less than two years older than her. “The man many suspect is the father, however, would face charges and probably prison time if he were to come forward and admit he had sex with her,” the magazine reports.
“Two separate Spears family insiders” are reporting that the father is not who she is saying it is, but this older man. “Jamie Lynn has been working on Zoey since she was 13,” a source says. “In Hollywood, little girls grow up fast, and she is no exception. With everything that has gone on in her family, she needed someone to look up to, but the man she found seems to have completely taken advantage of her.”
Because the source of this story is the tabloid magazine Star, I am not convinced this is completely accurate. This does not change the fact that it is concerning to me and many parents that teenage girls will look up the Jamie Lynn and think that it is OK to have a baby so young. Having a baby is such a huge responsibility, and one that many young girls are not ready to take on until they are much, much older. OK, I’m off my soap box.

I dont think that they should kick Jamie Lynn off of Nickelodeon just because she is PREGNANT I also think that she can do what she wants to do and when she wants to do it even though I am so suprised that she is PREGNANT and I am also ashamed of her because she is trying to follow behind Brittany with the process of getting “LAID” at a young age then having the press talk about and just dog you out. The PRESS just needs something else to talk about Im guessing that they are getting tired of Brittany. My mother thinks that they should kick Jamie Lynn off of Nickoldeon because ” even though teenagers are getting PREGNANT everyday dont mean that Jamie Lynn can just do it in their faces.
If you have anymore questions on why I think that Jamie Lynn does NOT need to be kicked off Nickelodeon just go to my page and send me a message and I will defintely get back to you.

Every thing i’ve learned about my past is this: My family makes this common mistake. But Aldridge not the father? I’ll always be praying for Jamie, day and night. I’ve always hoped I wouldn’t follow the mistakes that my parents made. Just one question: Who Is the father??

theres absolutely nothing wrong with jaime lynn being preggers. although it is sad becasue it looks as if she is following in Britney steps, theres nothing that says she’ll end up like her. I just had mi daughter two weeks ago and im 17. just a year older than jamie. it is hard, and it is sad when someone with so much potential has this happen. but respect her for the work shes done ,and dont judge her on her one mistake !

I don’t think it’s fair for people to say she is too young to have a child, just because she is a teenager doesn’t mean that she isn’t going to be a good mother(i’m also a teenage mother and my son doesn’t need or want anything because my husband and I have it for him), and as far as sex goes ALOT OF PEOPLE ARE HAVING SEX and even if celebrities weren’t advertising sexual behaviors TEENS WOULD STILL BE HAVING SEX it’s part of life and no on has the right to judge another person, unless everyone talking about her is an innoccent virgin?? I doubt that you are, so why not leave Jamie Lynn alone or give her respect for owning up to her resposibilities and as for Britney spears she is having enough problems without people up her ass.

Hi Everyone! I have found this to be very interesting. I understand where all of you are coming from, but in some aspects I disagree. I personally agree that no one has the right to judge others, so I am in no fashion trying to do that. I have watched Zoey 101 and think that it is a great show, and I feel that she has had great success and was deserving of it. I do believe that she should be removed from Nickelodeon. I am a mother of a young child. I do not find it appropriate for her to be considered a role model for children at this current time in her life. It is part of being human to make mistakes and we all do, no one is perfect. The reason I feel that she should be taken off of the show is because teenage pregnancy is not in most circumstances planned nor are most people at a young age prepared for the responsibility. Some adults aren’t prepared for it. It is not something that I personally want my child to see as being cool, fun, or easy. This is not to necessarily say that she is bad or that she isn’t good at what she does. Being a parent is a huge responsibility. Now with that being said, I do not mean that it can’t be done. I am sure that there are many wonderful mothers who have had children young in life, my mother did. I was born when my mother was sixteen, and I know from many others mothers that having a child at a young age does change alot of circumstances or opportunities that you may have or may be faced with later. Having a child will influence your decisions from thereon. That isn’t to say that it can’t be done or that it is all negative. I know personally that my mother had to make a lot of sacrifices at her age to raise me, and I commend and thank her for that. Having a child is a wonderful blessing, but I feel that young mothers have to grow up much quicker, and be much more responsible, which for some is too much. I do think that she has made a wonderful decision to have her child and raise it and I do not dislike Jamie Lynn, I wish her the best! I wish you all the best, I just wanted to express my views.

Hey, I am proud of her for keeping her baby. We live in a culture that says it is okay to dispose of ‘inconvenient’ children. Give it up for her recognizing the value of life.
