A Hannah Montana baby on the way?

miley_cyrus180.jpgA fake teen magazine posted an interview online saying 14-year-old Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus is pregnant, but her rep is saying those rumors are completely untrue.

“It’s 100 percent false. Someone doctored a J-14 article and posted this online” her publicist tells People. “It’s ridiculous and completely untrue. Miley is not pregnant. She just wrapped season two of Hannah Montana and will go on tour beginning Oct. 18.”

The magazine, J-14, has reportedly posted this comment on their website: “Despite internet rumors, J-14 NEVER reported that Miley Cyrus is pregnant.”

I am happy to hear this rumor is false, however you know the saying—even bad publicity is good publicity.

I am sad I will no longer be able to follow Hayek’s maternity fashion on my Pregnancy Fashion blog (click here to check it out). At least I still have Christina Aguilera and Nicole Richie to keep me busy!

By the way, what do you think of the name Valentina?

Jenny McCarthy talks autism

jennym.jpgJenny McCarthy is on the cover of the latest People magazine talking about her new book, Louder Than Words. McCarthy writes about her son, 5-year-old Evan, and how they have dealt with his autism through unconventional therapies.

“I don’t want to come across like a preacher,” she says. “All I’m doing is showing there are things you can do to ease autism. At 3 he had the skills of a 1-year-old. [Now] people are shocked when they meet him.”

McCarthy says that Evan’s autism affected her marriage with her ex-husband, however she now has a “beautiful relationship” with actor Jim Carrey. She said she was anxious about introducing Evan to Jim, “But Jim reacted better than anyone ever did. He was intrigued. He asked questions…Beyond doubt it was written in the stars that Jim and Evan were a pair. He’s actually helped Evan get past some obstacles I couldn’t.”

Eddie Vedder on raising a toddler

eddie.jpgGrunge rock icon Eddie Vedder talks to reporters at the Into the Wild press conference on how raising his 3-year-old daughter Olivia has changed him.

“When I had a child, everyone was telling me that I was going to see the world through her eyes, and everything was going to get this nice gloss to it. I kept waiting for that to happen, and thought there was a real problem with me that it wasn’t. It was a different reaction. It wasn’t the glowy lovey-dovey. It fueled my anger.”

The Pearl Jam front man says he is not only showing Olivia the world, but also encouraging her independence.

“I’m trying to break any chain of negative parenting that I might have survived. I know that she’s going to go through a time where she has to assert her independence. I’m going to have to just encourage that. I think she’s going to have a great upbringing. … Already, she’s [been] provided a life of travel. I didn’t get to New York until 25 or Europe until I was 26. She’s been to all these places six or seven times. She’s beyond me in terms of her comfortability around other people, to this day.”
