Baby girl for Whale Rider star Keisha Castle-Hughes
Whale Rider actress Keisha Castle-Hughes and her boyfriend welcomed their first child on Wednesday, reports People.
Felicity-Amore was born at 6:35 p.m. weighing 7 lb., 6 oz. The couple’s rep describes the baby girl as “beautiful.”
Keisha, 17, has been dating actor Bradley Hull, 20, for three years. The Australian native has taken some heat (at least in the States) for having a child at such a young age.
At age 13, Keisha became the youngest Best Actress Oscar Nominee for her role in Whale Rider. Perhaps she is just mature beyond her years?

Mature beyond her years. I don’t think so. She is a child who has absolutely no concept of what it takes to raise a child. Shame on her!

WTF, so having a baby “young” WHO CARES!!! I had my first at 18, preggers at 17. I now have all the babies I want, 4 children at age 25. Better to be a young mom who can actually raise, engage, & physically enjoy their children then to be 40 plus…..I look at it this way, MYOB! She’s happy, it’s not some random guy and it’s her life, her baby, her body. Snub all you want but let’s take it to a biblical sense, Virgin Mary herself was only 14 (maybe 15) so, DAMN THE WORLD!!! whatever America, can’t we find bigger issues to delegate about? Such as ways to stop future school shootings or how ’bout getting our troops home…..gimme a break
