Mel B explains daughter’s name
Melanie “Scary Spice” Brown has confirmed the name of her 3-week-old daughter’s name as Angel Iris Murphy Brown.
“Melanie spent a while deciding on the baby’s name. It was inspired by a number of things,” a friend tells People.
Brown released this explanation through her rep: “Angel, as she was my little angel through my pregnancy. Iris, as it’s my grandma’s name, Murphy because he’s the dad and Brown because I’m the mum!”
Ex-beau Eddie Murphy has said he wants a paternity test to confirm he is the beau.
