The former pop group Spice Girls are having somewhat of a baby boom! Emma “Baby Spice” Bunton is living up to her name–she is pregnant with her first baby, People reports.

“I guess I will be handing over the ‘Baby’ tag now to a deserving little new owner,” she announces.

Bunton, 31, and her boyfriend, former boy bander Jade Jones, have been a couple for eight years and are ready for this new addition. “We are so happy, it’s unbelievable news. What a great start to the New Year.”

Bunton is now a member of the growing Spice Girls mommy group. Melanie “Scary Spice” Brown is pregnant with her second child, Geri “Ginger Spice” Halliwell has an eight-month-old daughter, and Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham has three sons.

No word yet on the sex or due date of the baby.

Golf great Tiger Woods has made it clear that family comes first. The British Open, taking place in Scotland, is scheduled for July which is the same month is which wife Elin is due with their first baby.

“If it happens, it happens. If it crosses over, it crosses over. That’s the most important thing, not another golf tournament. I just wouldn’t go. If she’s going to have it during the week of the Open, I just don’t go.”  Winning is old news for the No. 1 ranked player, who won the Open last year.

Woods knows his priorities will change once they become a family of three. “Our priorities do change. You’re bringing a new life into this world and it’s 100 percent dependent on you for survival,” Sports Illustrated quotes him as saying. “It’ll be interesting to figure out my tournament schedule, preparations and commitments that I have to my sponsors, to try and balance all that with adding a new family member. Usually with golf you’re just preparing for the here and now and then all of a sudden you look a little bit further out in the future.”

No word yet on the sex of their baby, but I’m sure Tiger already has the tot enrolled in golf lessons!

I’m sure 10-year-old Lourdes and 6-year-old Rocco will enjoy hearing their mom’s voice immortalized as a cartoon. Doesn’t Rocco look just like his daddy, Guy Ritchie?

“I’m definitely thinking about it, having a child. Look, the most important job for a man is to find the right woman. It’s the best we can do. I thank my father for choosing my mother. She’s wonderful in so many ways. And she chose well too. I’ve noticed in life that the mother, first, has a primary job and as a father our job is to pick a caring, smart, mindful woman.”

Blood Diamond actress Jennifer Connelly recently told the London Independent that she “absolutely had considered adopting” an African child, but was worried how it might affect her biological son.

“He’s had a lot of change so of course I really have to be sensitive to him. One of the kids I became close to was older than him. What would that mean to my family? Would my son feel displaced, all of a sudden having an older sibling who didn’t speak the language and would need so much more time and attention? These are all concerns of mine and reasons why I didn’t come home with a child even though, believe me, I would call Paul at night when he was away. I’d say, ‘There’s this baby and I don’t know what to do and I love him so much and if I leave here he might die,’” she says.

Connelly, 35, and her husband Paul Bettany have a 3-year-old son named Stellan. 9-year-old Kai is Connelly’s son from a previous relationship.

She goes on to say that it is not completely out of the question, “It’s complicated, but we are considering.”

There is still that pesky pregnancy rumor following her around. I wonder if it is “complicated” because she is pregnant right now?
