Angelina Jolie wants many more children
The Good Shepherd star Angelina Jolie opened up on Friday at a press event and spoke about expanding her family, her boyfriend/father-of-her-children Brad Pitt, and the challenges of raising her 3 kids (Shiloh, 6 months, Zahara, 23 months and Maddox, 5) amid the media frenzy.
Would she have more children? “I’m very, very lucky. I love the different elements of my life. I love working abroad, and I love being with my kids and I love being with Brad. I’d like to add many more children and many more obstacles and many more things to my life.” Hmm…maybe we will see a pregnant Angelina soon?
How has having children affected her work schedule? “I don’t think that I’ve shot for more than seven weeks on a movie in two years. I need to make sure that I have time with my kids.”
How do she and Brad attempt to give their children a normal life, despite all the media frenzy? “I’ve made a point to not let it change the way that I live my life, other than I carefully plan my holidays or where we go or where we stay or things like that to try to ensure some kind of quality of life that is private and nice for the kids. I think that the only time that it is hard is when the kids want to go somewhere and want to see something. I’ve had so many people offer to take my children to Disneyland or places that I can’t take them. And they don’t understand how upsetting that is.”
Angelina describes this past Halloween celebration: “We were in India and so we had this really odd celebration at the hotel. We just had candy and costumes sent from the states and so we all dressed up. Z had a really big afro and Maddox had dreadlocks. We had some fun with dress-up.”
When asked if she and Brad would ever work together again, as they did in last year’s movie, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Angelina replied,”Who’s going to watch the children?”
