Anna Nicole Smith evicted?
The strange saga of events that has indeed turned into the “Anna Nicole Smith Show” continues to unfold. People magazine is reporting that one day after the funeral of her son Daniel, she was delivered an eviction notice at her home in the Bahamas.
Developer G. Ben Thompson says he purchased the home for $1 million dollars and was under the understanding that Smith would buy the house from him. Smith apparently refused to sign a mortgage saying the house was a “gift.” Thompson tells the media, “I never said that. I don’t have that kind of money.” He goes on to say that if she does not leave by Oct. 31st, he will formally evict her. “I don’t want to embarrass her or humiliate Anna. I just need my money, or collateral, back.”
If Smith is forced to leave her home in the Bahamas, her return to the states may bring about more drama. Larry Birkhead, Smith’s former boyfriend, has filed a paternity case saying that he is the father of her 7-week-old daughter, Dannielynn Hope, not Howard K. Stern. Smith has refused to do a paternity test, as requested by Birkhead.
