Mama-to-be Amanda Peet tied the knot today with screenwriter David Benioff, US magazine reports. The Studio 60 star married her boyfriend of four years in New York City at Friends Seminary, a Quaker school in which the actress is an alumnus.

Peet, now 4-5 months pregnant, wore a “strapless white dress with a black sash.”  She held a bouquet of white, pink and cream roses.

Guests at the wedding included Elizabeth Berkley and actor Mark Ruffalo. “They were both glowing,” Ruffalo remembers.

“It was a beautiful event,” a friend of Peet tells US. “Amanda looked beautiful. They passed the rings around so every single person could touch them, which was unusual, but nice.”

The couple is expecting their first child, rumored to be a girl, in February or March.

Us Weekly is reporting that Six Feet Under star Lauren Ambrose and her photographer husband Sam Handel are pregnant with their first child.

Ambrose, 28, and Handel have been married for 6 years. Stay tuned for their little bundle to make its arrival in January. No word yet on the sex of the baby.

The Anna Nicole Smith plot thickens. Larry Birkhead, Anna’s ex-boyfriend, left this message on his website after Howard K. Stern’s announcement on Larry King that he is the father of her baby.

“I will just say the situation has gotten out of hand. In regards to the paternity portion of the show, the Larry King interview is laughable.  I firmly believe the truth will come out soon and people will understand where I am coming from.

I maintain that I am THE PROUD FATHER, and look forward to a paternity test. I would like to say that I too am grieving the loss of Daniel Smith. He was a great kid, and I will miss him. I think this whole thing is unfortunate and look forward to a positive resolution.

This comes on the heels of her recent engagement announcement to her boyfriend, DJ Cubiche.

TMZ has reported that Rev. Run (of the famed rap group Run-DMC) and his wife Justine were saddened after their baby girl died shortly after delivery.

Justine delivered the baby via C-section and doctors immediately discovered that the girl was born with a condition in which her organs are outside of her body. The little girl died shortly after.

The pregnancy was the focus of Run’s MTV reality show, “Run’s House.”

Run has three children from a previous marriage, and he and Justine have two boys together.

People is reporting that the family released a statement saying, “On September 26, 2006, Victoria Anne Simmons for some unknown reason chose to come early and unfortunately did not survive. We must accept whatever is there and once you accept unconditionally, then everything is beautiful. Every pain has a purifying effect.”

Pathologist Cyril Wecht has told People that Anna Nicole Smith’s son, Daniel, died from a “lethal combination” of Methadone, Zoloft and Lexapro.

Methadone, which is often used to overcome a heroin addiction, was taken by Daniel as a “legitimate prescription drug for pain relief.” Zoloft and Lexapro are both antidepressants.

“In my opinion it’s an accidental death,” Wecht concludes.

Anna Nicole Smith apparently has more than a business relationship with her attorney, Howard K. Stern. Breaking the news on CNN’s Larry King, Stern (who is a constant fixture at Smith’s side) reported he is the “proud father” of her baby girl. I guessed as much!

Stern says the baby girl, named Dannie Lynn Hope, is the “one ray of hope” for the former Playboy model. The little girl was born just days before Smith’s son, Daniel, died mysteriously at the same Bahamas hospital. The little girl’s name was previously released as Hannah, so either the information was inaccurate or Smith changed the name in memory of her son Daniel.

Stern goes on to tell King that the little baby is, “the one thing that is really keeping her going. And through it all, even with all the pain, she has been a great mom, a very attentive mom.”

“We love each other and it’s been gong on for a very long time and because of my relationship as her lawyer, we felt it was best to keep everything hidden. And we’ve done a pretty good job of that,” he reveals to King.

I still find his revelation strange. I wonder why they weren’t open about their relationship and the baby from the beginning? Remember her strange announcement of her pregnancy?  The whole thing, from Stern’s declaration to Daniel’s death, seems strange to me.

Should we expect wedding bells in the future? “I’ve loved her for quite some time and hopefully the feeling’s mutual. At some point, we will. Right now we have to somehow get through what we’re going through.

He hopes the feeling is mutual? Like I said, something is not quite right.
