Britney Spears: K Fed’s performance and pregnancy highlights
Britney Spears, fresh off her revealing People magazine interview, made an appearance at the Teen Choice Awards on August 20. Spears was there to introduce her husband, Kevin Federline, as he made his debut performance and (despite her annoying gum chewing), I thought she looked pretty cute. The 24-year-old is 36 weeks pregnant with her second child.
In case you missed the People magazine interview, here are the highlights:
On getting pregnant so quickly the second time (Sean Preston is 11-months old): “It just kind of happened. I’m going to wait a while for the next (one)! I feel like I’ve been pregnant for 10 years!”
How she is doing being pregnant and caring for a young baby: “It is now starting to get a little tiring, holding (Sean Preston), but the whole pregnancy I’ve done it a lot because he’s very attached. It makes me feel needed and wanted, so I like it too.”
Boy or girl? Spears says she and Federline are not finding out the sex of the baby. “[They] are going to be so close together, it’s going to be weird. But I love it.”
Spears, who has gained 40 lbs. during this pregnancy, talks about her cravings: “Crunching ice and chocolate, oh my god. I’ll get up in the middle of the night and I’ll get a Hershey’s bar, the real big ones, and I’ll put it in the microwave and melt it and eat it. It sounds disgusting, but it’s so satisfying.”
In case you were wondering how hubby’s K Fed’s debut performance was, I would sum it up in one word: unmemorable. I think he should have done it a little more Justin Timberlake style — more singing and dancing and less weak rapping.
