Opie is a grandfather-to-be!
Lady in the Water star Bryce Dallas Howard is pregnant with her first child with husband Seth Gabel, People magazine reports.
Bryce, daughter of award-winning filmmaker (and Happy Days star) Ron “Opie” Howard, said, “I can’t talk about the pregnancy too much. I’m a little superstitious.”
At the British premiere of Lady, costar Paul Giamatti was asked about Bryce’s pregnancy and he joked, “I had nothing to do with it!”
Bryce got her early acting roles, courtesy of her father, in hits such as Parenthood and Apollo 13. The actress has made a name for herself in The Village and is already cast for Spiderman 3.
No other details of the baby, including due date or sex, have been released — but I’m betting on a water birth.
