August is here!
People is giving us more details on the recent birth of Mariska Hargitay’s and husband Peter Hermann’s baby named August. That is an interesting name… especially for a baby boy. I’m not sure of the significance behind the name, but I’m sure the new mama felt like little August would not be here until…well, August!
I have to give the actress kudos for carrying the baby full term (and then some), unlike many actresses who are induced early too avoid gaining to much weight.
Born a week late, the 10 pound, 9 ounce boy was born by c-section and the couple’s rep tells People, “I just talked to her and she is ecstatic — over the moon.”
Hargitay, who had said she loved being pregnant because, “I feel more beautiful and goddessy than I ever have,” is looking forward to a few indulgences now that she has had her baby. “I’m looking forward to taking a bath and going for sushi!”

I am just Happy Mariska and the baby are o.k. MAriska is my fav actress ever and I cant wait till sha comes back on Law and Order:SVU. Oh my younger brother is only 14 days older then August. Good luck being a new mama. MY FAMILY LOVES YOU SOOOOOOO MUUCH

I’m so happy for Mariska and her husband. I know that Mariska is going to be a great mother. I think that the name August, is very unique, yet very cute. All of the pictures that I’ve seen of him are adorable.
I’m glad that Mariska is SVU’s Olivia Benson again. I absolutely love Mariska’s charactor, Olivia Benson. I’ve had a rough childhood and Olivia reminds me that I have so much to look forward to in life and to stay positive.

OMG. Mariska is so pretty. She is deffintily my role model. & I seriously want to meet her someday. She is great on Law & Order SVU. That is my favirote show. Her baby August is the cutest baby EVER. Mariska is a total inspration in my life. She is such a great detective on Law & Order SVU and she has inspired me to become a SVU Decective when I get older. I am only 13 now, but that is my dream and I am sticking with it. Mariska thanks for being such an inspration. Love you & I hope you and August have a happy and healthy life. -Ashley. mariska is adorable. i want to meet her so bad, ive had a rough life
and watching LAW AND ORDER SVU makes me feel like its not my fault
that my past is rough. ever since i was a little kid ive wanted to be a cop
but now im 16 and ive been thinking about being a svu detective. thanks!
