"Alias" baby boom! Amy Acker expecting this fall
It is a baby boom on the set of the hit ABC show, Alias! (What is in the water?!) Amy Acker, who plays not-so-nice spy Kelly Peyton on the show, is expecting her second child with her husband, actor James Carpinello, in September. Their first child, a boy named Jackson James, is 14 months old.
The couple’s yet-to-be-named baby (no word on the sex, either) will have many playmates on the action-packed set. Fellow Alias star Jennifer Garner gave birth to Violet in November 2005, and Kevin Weisman welcomed a daughter, Maya Rose, last month. E! reports that the pregnancy is well-timed so as not to interfere with Acker’s fight scenes on the show.
You may remember that Acker also played Winifred Burkle on the WB hit-show, Angel, from 2001-2004. More recently, she appeared on another WB show, Supernatural. The busy actress is slated to make her sitcom debut on the season finale of CBS’ How I Met Your Mother in May.
Now, if we could only get baby-craving actress Jennifer Aniston to make an appearance on the show (or at least drink some of that water) before Alias takes a final bow. The 2-hour series finale airs May 2 — leaving this group of actors with a little more time to enjoy their new family additions.
